Abbreviations
  • FDoIP - First-Day-of-Issue Postmark used on First Day Covers (FDC).
  • SP - Special Postmark: issued for special event and was available for short period of time.
  • PM - Permanent postmark: available for a long period of time, some small design changes possible.
  • DU - exact date of first introduction and/or last usage is unknown. Clarifications and comments are welcome.
  • OS - Old Scan - the scan is from an old philatelic magazine, real color of the postmark might be different.
  • New - New design of an existing postmark.
The Status Legend proposal
  • uncirculated - postmark on uncirculated/unused envelope or postcard, either FDC, commemorative or blank.
  • circulated - postmark on postal-circulated/used envelope or postcard, either FDC, commemorative or blank.
  • "-"     Don't have - Looking for.
  • "--"    Don't have it, but not interested.
  • "+"     Have it.
  • "++"    Have it and have some spares for trade.
           e.g. "++2"   have 2 items for trade.
  • "+/-"     Have it, but would like to replace it or get another one (don't mix it up with "+" and "-" underneath - the link to the item marked by "+").
  • "*"        Ordered/swapped it, but not received it yet.

Please consider the environment before printing, this list which will occupy almost 300 A4 pages, which might end up in the garbage bin at the end.
