On February 24th, 2022 Russian army, with support of Belarus, invaded Ukraine territory and currently bombing peaceful cities and killing civilians all over the territory of Ukraine.
On March 3rd, 2022 the Federation of European Philatelic Associations (FEPA) and the International Philatelic Federation (Fédération Internationale de Philatélie - FIP) banned Russian and Belarussian philatelists from their stamp shows.
The FEPA statement is: "The Board’s recommendation to its Members is that they should not permit participation from Russia and Belarus of any kind in their philatelic events for the foreseeable future."
The FIP statement is: "The FIP Board ... recommend that the Organismg Commlttees of the FIP World Exhibitions in 2022, to seek the withdrawal of the participation of Russian and Belarusian exhibits ..."

Mr. Peter Brandhuber collects stamps and philatelic material related to the topics „Paleoanthropology“, „Evolution of mankind“, „Stone tools“, „Cave and rock paintings“, „Charles Darwin“ and „Evolution“ for 30 years now. Meanwhile, he owns a very large collection covering these topics including a lot of artwork. The catalogue covers all artwork known that covers these topics. If you know another one feel free to contact Peter Brandhuber. Dr. John Hawk is an associate professor of anthropology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
On January 1st 2021 John Hawks began to publish every day a picture of famous human fossils illustrated by himself on his blog and twitter account. Peter Brandhuber discovered these absolute stunning and beautiful illustrations and had the idea to combine the beautiful images with philatelic materials like stamps or postal cancellations.
