On 10th September 2009, the Post Authority Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH Post), issued the stamp "Bicentenary of Birth of Charles Darwin". The stamp shows a portrait of Charles Darwin on the right and hominid evolution sequence on the left side of the stamp.
2009 was both the 200th Anniversary or bicentenary of the birth of the greatest naturalist in history, Charles Robert Darwin, and the 150th Anniversary of the publication of his most famous work "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection". Many postal authorities around the world issued stamps in the years 2008 to 2010 to commemorate these events.
