On May 9
th, 2025, the Post of Monaco issued one the stamp
"National Archaeological Discoveries on stamp of Monaco 2025".
The stamp depicts the Observatory Cave in Monaco, where the
first traces of occupation date back to -250,000 and -20,000 years, alongside
discoveries made on Monegasque territory since prehistoric times: biface, lynx
skull, amphora, gold coin, bracelet.
